Claims to fame: Fox “News” Channel producer (2002-09); “embed” producer on Hillary Clinton’s campaign trail; accused child pornography collector and purveyor
Moral apex: Take your pick: either the kiddie-porn bust on February 10, 2009 (for having the most vile kiddie porn images and videos on his computer), or the 1999 bust for distributing child pornography in college.
The details: Too horrific to relate here. Suffice to say it is the most brutal, violent form of child sexual abuse imaginable, involving children as young as five. It gets worse: This was not Bruns’ first encounter with the law over child pornography. And, for some reason, Fox “News” either did not vet Bruns properly, or did not care that he had been charged with the same sort of crime a full ten years earlier.
Where things stand today: As of this writing, we’re waiting for a trial.
