Moral apex: Busted in 2006 — “in the parking lot of the Habana Inn, which touts itself as the ‘Southwest’s Largest Gay Resort Hotel’ on its website” (SoVo) — for “offering to engage in an act of lewdness”; i.e., propositioning an undercover cop — a male cop — for sex.
End result: He was acquitted in 2007.
So? So, if he wasn’t guilty of anything, why did he resign from all his posts?
