Claims to fame: Former (sacked) town clerk-treasurer (”elected to his position as a Republican in November 2007″), Lakeville, Indiana; former (sacked) reserve police officer; suspected breaker-and-enterer; suspected girlfriend-batterer; suspected druggie; fugitive
Moral apex: Charged with breaking into the home of his girlfriend, then beating the crap out of her.
What’s more: When Lakeville police went to Grove’s apartment to retrieve his service revolver, they found “three different kinds of illegal drugs and paraphernalia.” (WSBT)
What’s more: Nobody’s actually said Grove (town clerk-treasurer, remember) has stolen anything from the town coffers, but plenty of folks have implied it (or at least, we’ve inferred it).
