Early this morning (October 1, 2010), the Detroit News reported that the highly-combustible Andrew Shirvell, Michigan assistant attorney general and thoroughly obsessed stalker of the very cute, gay president of the University of Michigan student body, had been suspended from his job; now, reports the Free Press, Shirvell’s boss, AG Mike Cox (who’s been sporting a most becoming deer-in-the-headlights look as he straddles the line between doing the right thing by sacking the weasely little stalker and keeping his right-wing, anti-gay base happy) says no, no, no, he wasn’t suspended — he just took a leave of absence.
