Claims to fame: Wife of hardcore right-wing Republican Maricopa County, Arizona, supervisor and Joe Arpaio cohort Fulton Brock; ex-agent, Gary Call Real Estate; mother of three; super-duper devout Mormon; accused statutory rapist
Moral apex: Arrested October 26, 2010, and accused of having sex some 20 to 30 times over a three-year period with a teenage boy — the son of a family friend — beginning when he was 14. (As of 2010, Susan Brock is 48.)
Well, at least she’s not the jealous type: Said to have lavished the kid with gifts, Brock also allegedly provided all the accoutrements for the boy and his underage girlfriend to have sex — condoms, rides, even places they could do the nasty in private.
Fairly Odd Parent, indeed: When texting her underage boyfriend, reports azcentral.com, Brock “used the moniker ‘Timmy Turner’ in texts. That is the name of a Cartoon Network character from the TV show Fairly Odd Parents.”
Charges: Two counts of child molestation and two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.
Due in court: November 3, 2010, for a status hearing, with a preliminary hearing scheduled November 8, 2010.
What does hubby have to say?
“My life and that of my family’s was upended last night. Police officers arrested my wife of 28 years and the mother of our three children. She was informed that she was being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year old. Even with this statement I am not sure how to express what such a shocking emotional punch to your heart and family feels like. I am stunned. My children are flabbergasted. You think you know someone after 28 years and I need answers as much as police officers do. I want so much to believe these allegations are not true, but if they are, I am appalled and crushed. I am a religious man. I ask all to pray for our family and those involved so that justice may best be served.— Fulton Brock

Suggested Book of Mormon reading for both Mr. and Mrs. Brock:
Do not suppose, because it has been spoken concerning restoration, that ye shall be restored from sin to happiness. Behold, I say unto you, wickedness never was happiness. For that which ye do send out shall return unto you again, and be restored; therefore, the word restoration more fully condemneth the sinner, and justifieth him not at all.
