As for the violent and/or sexual deviants:

Their own parent(s) and pulpits constantly demonizing anyone the child may be attracted to ….integrates a normal healthy attraction causing an inner rage against those he/she is attracted to for causing them to “sin” even in their thoughts which of course, later translates into violent action.

This kind of religious thrum along with the incessant lesson that everyone besides themselves is to blame for making one “sin” for being attracted

….instills a sense into a pubescent sexually curious child that the people they would be naturally attracted to are at fault (sinners) for instigating/stimulating them resulting in their victims needing punished . . .

This Parker guy is yet another example coming from the blatant bible bigot father and we can don’t have to stretch the imagination to assume the incessant mind f*ck pounded into him at home.

To close off, it is impossible to ignore the non-stop endless headlines of parents killing their own children because the parents were pulpit trained to believe what normal childhood behavior – in their belief system – indicates the child is demonically possessed and needs to be eradicated.

Alas, it all validates that expression:
