On the other hand, we’re not so sure Stephen Green belongs here. Oh, he’s a conservative, all right, but we’re not so sure he’s a hypocrite, what with 1 Timothy 2:11-14 and all.
But, hey, don’t blame us — we here at ConBab Central try our very, very best to adhere to Christian law (well, OK, and sometimes Mormon law, and Orthodox Jewish law) when pointing out the glaring differences between what Men-O’-God say, and what they do. It wouldn’t be fair to hold them to any other standard (like, oh, say, just plain, common decency), would it?
So… Hmmm… Yep. Stephen Green — assuming all these allegations are true (although, really, who could believe the word of a mere woman?) — is not a right-wing hypocrite. A brutish monster who makes jackals and hyenas appear civilized, perhaps, but not a hypocrite.
Except for that little issue of divorce. If Stevie were a real, Christian man, he wouldn’t have allowed the wife to divorce him.
Oh! Guess he is a big, fat hypocrite after all!
Whew! Are we ever glad that’s settled!
