Stupidest thing you’ll see on video this week after the jump.

Nahhh… burning a cereal box (or a cross, for that matter) on a lawn while saying “Now for the homosexuals” isn’t hate. (By the way, the earth is also flat.)

Mike Leisner, a 65-year-old Minnesota real estate broker and self-proclaimed radio Bible teacher, really, really doesn’t like Teh Gay; The Smoking Gun says he “has previously recorded a series of anti-gay YouTube clips,” in which “he can be seen attacking Representative Barney Frank and Bill Maher, while noting that President Barack Obama has ‘bent forward to accommodate the sodomites of New York.’ He also makes reference to ‘gay perverts,’ ‘fierce faggots,’ and the ‘depraved, debasing debauchery of gay activists.’”

(Are you getting the idea Leisner might be one of those deeply, uh, homophobically-aroused gay-haters?)

You’ll have to take TSG’s word about Leisner’s hate-the-gay vids; his YouTube account (“Live4Chr1st”) “has been terminated due to repeated or severe violations of our Community Guidelines and/or claims of copyright infringement.” (We’re guessing the problem wasn’t copyright infringement.) But there’s one YouTube video that’s still up — which has gone viral…

Since General Mills doesn’t hate Teh Gay (the company has come out against the state’s proposed anti-gay amendment on the ballot this fall), Leisner decided to protest GM’s non-hateful ways by torching a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios on the lawn in front of the company’s Golden Valley headquarters. The moran ended up lighting the lawn on fire and running away:

Leisner is said to be under investigation by Golden Valley police. Meanwhile, according to JMG, Leisner has been sacked from his job — not because of some vast gay conspiracy, but because, according to a statement attributed to the company which utilized his services: “Greater Midwest Properties does not support the alleged destruction of property. Therefore, the agent’s license will be returned to the Minnesota Department of Commerce.”

Which is fine by us. We support the right of any moran to believe any stupid, regressive, bigoted thing he wants, and spew whatever ignorant garbage he wants — but free speech ends where wanton vandalism begins.

P.S. No, we didn’t misspell “moron.” Mike Leisner is a true moran.
