Rene AndradeArrested: Rene Andrade, 43, youth pastor, Iglesia Cristiana El Shaddai, Los Angeles, and charged with committing lewd acts on a minor. After reportedly meeting the 15-year-old girl at church, he kept in touch with her by phone and through Facebook, and allegedly drove to San Bernardino to have sex with her. The girl’s mother put two and two together, and Andrade was arrested on his next trip east. He is being held on $350,000 bail. Walter BradshawGazella Oldham

Convicted: Walter Donald Bradshaw, 63, traveling evangelist, of Lexington, North Carolina, on 22 of 24 counts of rape and other sexual assault against a then-11-year-old girl in a Bedford, Pennsylvania, motel room in 2009. The girl’s mother, Gazella Oldham, 52, of Alum Bank, Pennsylvania, was sentenced in June to two to five years in prison followed by three years’ probation after pleading no contest to felony criminal solicitation, felony child endangerment and misdemeanor corruption of a minor. Oldham delivered her daughter to the motel to engage in sex with Bradshaw. Mark Stewart BullockSentenced: Mark Stewart Bullock, 47, Roman Catholic priest, formerly of Church of the Immaculate Conception, Towson, Maryland, to 360 days in jail, suspended, plus 36 months’ probation and completion of an addiction rehabilitation program, following his conviction of indecent exposure. Bullock was arrested in January after being caught with his pants down (literally; he was completely naked below the waist) in a movie theatre inside an adult bookstore. Michael Charles CampbellConvicted: Michael Charles Campbell, 48, former pastor, House of Worship Church of God in Christ (COGIC), DeLand, Florida, and funeral director; of raping a 12-year-old girl in late 2006. While driving a hearse with a body in the back, Campbell picked up the girl at her home, telling her father he had some work for her. Telling the girl he wanted her to perform in a “skit” as a means to start her on a modeling career, Campbell dropped off the dead body at the Daytona airport, then took the girl to a motel and raped her for several hours. Alejandro Jose CastilloSued again: Alejandro Jose Castillo, 58, Roman Catholic priest and former pastor, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Ontario, California, who in April was released from jail after eight months following his conviction for sexually abusing a 12-year-old male parishioner; by a different boy. The Press-Enterprise reports: “The civil suit filed Monday, Sept. 18, in San Bernardino County Superior Court alleges that in 2003 and 2004, Castillo also repeatedly sexually abused a teenaged boy in the same parish. The parish, the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Bernardino, and the Riverside-based Western Province of the Society of the Divine Word, an order of priests and brothers, are also named in the suit. They are accused of negligence for not doing enough to protect the boy.” Police believe Castillo may have molested other victims in incidents dating back to the 1970s. Israel Shalom CastilloArrested: Israel Shalom Castillo, 23, former custodian and camp staffer, Victory Christian Center, Tulsa Oklahoma, the second of two former employees accused of child sex abuse at the megachurch. Castillo, currently in custody on a $70,000 bond, has been charged with making a lewd or indecent proposal to a a 15-year-old girl and using a computer to facilitate a sex crime, while Chris Denman 20, has been charged with rape and forcible sodomy allegedly committed against a 13-year-old girl. Five other Victory Christian employees (including the daughter and son-in-law of church founders-pastors Sharon Daugherty and the late Billy Joe Daugherty) have also been charged with misdemeanor failure to report the allegations against Denman, about which they reportedly knew for more than two weeks before either authorities or the girl’s parents were contacted. Joe CheaterSentenced: Joe Cheater, Jr., 40, youth minister at various churches in and around Catoosa, Oklahoma (reportedly including Rock House Church), and Cub Scout leader; to 20 years in prison plus lifetime probation in a plea deal. Cheater was charged with multiple felony counts, including rape, committed against six girls under the age of 14. The crimes took place in Cheater’s mobile home between 2005 and 2008. Cheater was married at the time; the victims were friends of his own children. Cheater was also accused of sexually molesting a foreign exchange student living with his family, but it is not known if the student is included among the original six victims.
