In “honor” of the Boy Scouts of America wimping out on the decision of whether or not to allow gay adults to work as scoutmasters and in other volunteer positions (no, the weaselly non-decision to allow local units to decide if they want to continue to discriminate on a whim is not good enough), and in response to the professional homophobes attempting to muster hysteria about the Boy Scouts becoming a den of pedophiles if gay men are allowed to serve (the BSA is a den of pedophiles and always has been, without any involvement by openly gay adults), we hereby present this extra-long rundown of perverts and alleged perverts to emerge from the ranks of the BSA… recently, that is. (Of course, we’ve been following the BSA’s perv epidemic for some time… And just wait until we start reviewing the names we’re only now finding in the BSA’s own Perversion Files.)

Michael AgrippineCharged: Michael James Agrippine, 47, substitute teacher, Union Terrace Elementary School, Allentown, Pennsylvania; former full-time teacher, Allentown Central Catholic High School; Eagle Scout and Cub Scout volunteer; husband and father of two girls; with felony institutional sexual assault, felony aggravated indecent assault, felony indecent assault, and misemeanor indecent assault, allegedly committed against a nine-year-old male special-education student. LehighValleyLive.com reports: “Agrippine was in the boys’ [school] restroom … when the victim was escorted there by a female teacher, authorities said. The woman did not enter the restroom and Agrippine approached the boy, held him against a wall and assaulted him, according to authorities. Agrippine denied the allegations at his preliminary arraignment … but court records say he admitted to the alleged assault.” Agrippine is currently free on $75,000 bail. Eisenberg. “In his complaint,” reports the Los Angeles Times, “Novak alleges that pedophiles were involved in scouting for decades, as demonstrated when the Boy Scouts of America in October released confidential documents — known as the ‘perversion files‘ — that list 1,200 alleged abusers who were weeded out of the organization between 1959 and 1985. … Novak said he is suing the Mormon Church because it failed to conduct a background check before Hein was hired.” The scout troop is sponsored by the LDS Marshallton 2nd Ward.
