We really need to catch up with Bishop Eddie Long’s shenanigans since the last time we dropped in on him and his alleged Church of the Down-Low. Until we do, however, here’s a story about Eddie that isn’t really about Eddie — but which (pardon the atrocious grammar) Eddie’s up to his neck in.
One of Eddie’s ex-buddies is in deep doo-doo with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the good folks at the fed who protect common joes like us from bad people who want to rip us off through mortgage frauds, Ponzi schemes, and the like. (more…)

Bishop Eddie L. Long is in the news once again after it was revealed that he’s being investigated by the U.S. Secret Service for being linked to a “questionable mortgage venture” that caused many church members to lose their homes.
Oh, dear. Oh, dearie, dearie, dear.

November 2, 2010: Lawyers for New Birth Missionary Baptist Church Bishop Eddie Long have filed some 120 pages rebutting the forced-sex relationships four young men claim “Daddy” pressured them into, saying Long is guilty of nothing more than “hugging.”
