March 14, 2013 — The former pastor of a northwest Indiana megachurch is scheduled for sentencing today for persuading a 16-year-old girl to engage in a sexual affair with him by telling her that Jesus desired it.

Two videos after the jump.
When the news broke on the 18th that Christine Shreeve Hubbs — the Livermore, California, Mormon mom who plied two young boys with gifts and then had sex with each (the first reportedly her daughter’s boyfriend, and the second reportedly a patsy used to make the first boy jealous when he started pulling away from the shameless old cougar) — had been released from prison and was busted again less than a week later on a parole violation, we had no idea what sort of violation it was. Now, we know — but the parole violation is nothing compared to the rest of the story that’s just now emerging. If this is accurate, it’s almost as sick as anything that’s come before in the Hubbs saga, and highly disturbing. (more…)

Ironically, a post we made in 2011 ended with this: “Unless something bizarre happens while she serves her sentence, this is the probably the last you’ll hear of Chrissy Hubbs until 2016 — or maybe 2013, if she’s a good girl… for a change.”
Well, she made it to 2013 without warranting a mention from us — but it looks like she just can’t stop being a very bad girl… (more…)

“Sometimes he would choke us, put a pillow over our faces, tie us up, use little chopsticks and knives and stab us.”
— Testimony of one of Daryl VonNeida’s victims
Bizarre. Gruesome. Avoidable. Something you won’t read in the mainstream media reports about the freakish Daryl E. VonNeida — who was convicted today of 14 charges of sexually (more…)

“‘Yes, I’m definitely for choice,’ he said. And I said, ‘Great, we agree on that.’ Then, he said, ‘In Salt Lake, they told me it was okay to take that position in a liberal state.’ I said, ‘That doesn’t make me quite as happy. I’d rather know you really believe it.’ …
“He got very restless and stood up and said, ‘I am pro-choice; is there something else?’”
“It’s not worth moving heaven and earth spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person.”

He is currently a Premed student at Southeastern University and wants to attend medical school before pursuing office.”

Missouri has always been something of an anomaly among the states. Officially part of the Midwest, Missouri looks, feels, and often acts far more like its Southern neighbors (particularly Arkansas, Kentucky and Tennessee). Offhand…
A city like Columbia actually feels like a city, but drive a few miles out of town, and suddenly you’re in dark woods of the sort that will make you think you’ve just been dropped into the middle of a Friday the 13th sequel, where you’ll remember every reference Stephen King ever made to “foo lights,” before you stop mid-thought and suddenly recognize the tune you’ve been humming mindlessly to yourself. “Pacquiao is entitled to his beliefs, but he looked a bit hypocritical when it turned out that his wife, Jinkee, nearly divorced him in November. The Los Angeles Times last week reported that trainer Freddie Roach said Jinkee Pacquiao served divorce papers upon her husband shortly before his fight with Juan Manuel Marquez.
“Roach subsequently denied saying she served divorce papers, though he didn’t deny that Pacquiao’s lifestyle was hurting his fight career. Roach said that, among other things, the distractions (more…)

Claims to fame: Failed businessman; son of the 41st President of the United States; squatter, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Moral apex: Sorry, can’t list everything. Only so much disk space, you know. Besides, we can’t delve into any of Junior’s alleged sexual peccadilloes (like, oh, his alleged extramarital affair with one Tammy Phillips, which reportedly began in 1997 and ended in 1999) without worrying about a late-night knock at the door.
Besides, Bush’s verifiable crimes are so voluminous, allegations of a lousy extramarital affair (or three, or ten) mean nothing by comparison. Remember the mantra, babes: When Clinton lied, nobody died.
So let’s just leave it at this…
Memorable quote:
“Pussy.”
— At the Republican National Convention in 1988, when asked by a Hartford Courant reporter what he and his father talked about when they weren’t discussing politics (as reported by Salon).
Suggested Bible reading for Mr. Bush:
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
— 2 Timothy 3:1-5
