Claims to fame: Respectively, President and Recording Secretary, Orange County Young Republicans; idiots

Moral apex: Probably haven’t hit their apex(es) yet, but have already made names for themselves by distributing fliers at 2003 Young Republicans national convention for “Karlpalooza ’03,” party offering “lots of beer, liquor and sex.”

Consequences: Boston’s Park Plaza Hotel shut down YR convention’s “hospitality suites.” Brabenec sacked by boss, Orange County Executive Edward Diana. Karalis asked to resign from Orange County Foreign Trade Zone board.
