First, catch up with the story of Jesse Ruhl, former youth pastor of his daddy’s anti-gay, IFB Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Chico, California, who missed his January 18th arraignment, at which he was supposed to answer to charges of a “relationship” with a 16-year-old girl.
Now… The February 28 warrant for Jesse’s arrest has just been recalled. What this means, in laymen’s terms, per USLegal.com: “A bench warrant is a formal order of the court to law enforcement officers to arrest and bring to jail a person who has failed to appear in court at a determined time and place. We wouldn’t have been as inclined to spotlight Jesse Ruhl if his church — where his daddy is pastor — hadn’t inserted itself so violently into the wrong side of the Proposition 8 battle:
