Two videos after the jump.
When the news broke on the 18th that Christine Shreeve Hubbs — the Livermore, California, Mormon mom who plied two young boys with gifts and then had sex with each (the first reportedly her daughter’s boyfriend, and the second reportedly a patsy used to make the first boy jealous when he started pulling away from the shameless old cougar) — had been released from prison and was busted again less than a week later on a parole violation, we had no idea what sort of violation it was. Now, we know — but the parole violation is nothing compared to the rest of the story that’s just now emerging. If this is accurate, it’s almost as sick as anything that’s come before in the Hubbs saga, and highly disturbing. (more…)

One of the most irritating things about Mormon missionaries — aside, that is, from their very existence on our doorstep — is the audacity of the church in sending 19-year-old punks, one-half to one-third our ages — yet who insist on being called “Elder” (bitch, please) — with no life experience and no understanding whatsoever of the drug they’re pushing,[1] to our homes to tell us how to live.[2]
Irritation turns to alarm when it appears that one of these pimple-faced but neatly-scrubbed punks might be a child rapist — and one so adept at Lying for the Lord that he was able to hide his crimes well enough to get that all-coveted temple recommend, maintain his “priesthood,” and wind up on our doorstep. Ironically, a post we made in 2011 ended with this: “Unless something bizarre happens while she serves her sentence, this is the probably the last you’ll hear of Chrissy Hubbs until 2016 — or maybe 2013, if she’s a good girl… for a change.”
Well, she made it to 2013 without warranting a mention from us — but it looks like she just can’t stop being a very bad girl… (more…)

In “honor” of the Boy Scouts of America wimping out on the decision of whether or not to allow gay adults to work as scoutmasters and in other volunteer positions (no, the weaselly non-decision to allow local units to decide if they want to continue to discriminate on a whim is not good enough), and in response to the professional homophobes attempting to muster hysteria about the Boy Scouts becoming a den of pedophiles if gay men are allowed to serve (the BSA is a den of pedophiles and always has been, without any involvement by openly gay adults), we hereby present this extra-long rundown of perverts and alleged perverts to emerge from the ranks of the BSA… recently, that is. (Of course, we’ve been following the BSA’s perv epidemic for some time… And just wait until we start reviewing the names we’re only now finding in the BSA’s own Perversion Files.) (more…)

The music is a bit Faux News-style melodramatic, but this short news report (with part 2 on ABC 4/Salt Lake City tomorrow night, February 5th) is worth the watch; until you hear victims speak, it’s often difficult to imagine their very real agony. (more…)

We’re always grateful to right-wingers who save us a lot of time and trouble by broadcasting their hypocrisy for the world to see.
Take Dennis Fauchier of Los Banos, California, for example. He’s a devout Mormon who’s found a long-distance girlfriend through online dating, and seems pleased as punch to sit down for an interview about it with the Los Banos Enterprise.
He’s also divorced.
But here’s the real kicker: Before entering Splitsville, Population Two (six, if you count his kids), he donated a hundred bucks to Proposition 8, presumably in order to preserve (or is it protect?) (more…)
