So, the daughter of Amanda Ross, the woman former gubernatorial candidate Steve Nunn allegedly shot to death in September, has filed a civil wrongful-death lawsuit against Nunn — and has also named Nunn’s daughter as co-defendant.

Seems Nunn “fraudulently transferred personal property in his house to his oldest daughter after the suit had been filed, and that she sold the items at auction.” [WKYT]

Meanwhile, Nunn’s lawyer says “he may have to withdraw as Nunn’s attorney if the judge won’t release funds from an escrow account to pay his legal expenses.” [Glasgow Daily Times]

Hours after his former fiancée was found shot to death in Lexington, former gubernatorial candidate Steve Nunn slit his wrists in a Hart County cemetery, according to Kentucky State Police.

Barren County Sheriff Chris Eaton said Nunn cut his wrists outside Cosby United Methodist Church near the Barren County-Hart County line on LeGrande Highway. …

Police have not charged Nunn, Kentucky State Police Trooper Charles Sweeney said. Police officers will question Nunn upon his release [from hospital]. …

Nunn and Ross had a history of domestic conflict. On March 4, a Fayette County judge ordered Nunn to have no contact with Ross for one year because of a domestic violence incident in February. …

Nunn, a former state representative, served briefly as deputy secretary of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services under Gov. Steve Beshear. He resigned that post on March 4. …
