So, the daughter of Amanda Ross, the woman former gubernatorial candidate Steve Nunn allegedly shot to death in September, has filed a civil wrongful-death lawsuit against Nunn — and has also named Nunn’s daughter as co-defendant.
Seems Nunn “fraudulently transferred personal property in his house to his oldest daughter after the suit had been filed, and that she sold the items at auction.” [WKYT]
Meanwhile, Nunn’s lawyer says “he may have to withdraw as Nunn’s attorney if the judge won’t release funds from an escrow account to pay his legal expenses.” [Glasgow Daily Times]

In short, you can’t evaluate whether or not a suspect can be held responsible for a crime for which he hasn’t yet been indicted. There may, however, be another reason the prosecutor moved to stop Steve Nunn’s headshrinking cold.

The Louisville Courier-Journal has the story on the gun-brandishing charges.
AP reports that Nunn, 56, has also been charged with violating that restraining order taken out by the murder victim, Nunn’s ex-girlfriend, 29-year-old Amanda Ross.
Other reports state that area police had been searching for Nunn since early morning, after Ross’s body was found in the parking lot of her townhouse.
